pet policy
general
- While no owner is required to make pets an option for their home, most of ours have!
- We grant permission and can revoke permission at any time if tenant fails to comply with terms.
- A Pet Addendum will be required for any and all pets.
Animal features
- The maximum weight is 50lbs.
- Must be housetrained
- Must be spayed or neutered
- Must not be a cause of disturbance in community
Security Deposit Impact
We do not require a separate pet security deposit. While our typical non-pet security deposit is 1 months rent. Our with-pet security deposit is 1 months rent + $200. Your security deposit is fully refundable depending on the condition you leave the property.
Pet Rent
We do not charge an upfront fee for your pet. We do however charge ‘Pet Rent’ of $50 per month. (Note that $50 per month is our standard rate and unusual circumstances could cause this figure to be increased.)
upon moveout
We require that on move out that the tenant with pets pays for professional carpet and air-duct cleaning. This can be paid from the security deposit. The goal is to remove pet dander and allergens that could impact any future potential tenant.
Can I get a pet later?
Yes! We have a Pet Addendum that would need to be completed before any pet is accepted. You will also need to add funds to your security deposit (refundable) and pay your pet’s rent every month.
